Conversation with God

I asked God about my haters or those who speak ill over me and HE said I love them and you should too. I said God why is it me, that they must hate on and try to tear down? He again replied that I love them and you should too. I thought I did love them but now I know that I must focus on showing them a God kinds of love. So I am sharing this with you to love your haters, with a God kind of love. I do and you should too!

Unexpected Blessings!!

This week, I took my granddaughter on a trip to Branson. As much fun as she had, she still did not expect to do all the things that she did on the trip. We should be as excited as she was when the Lord does things for us. Sometimes we ask and don't believe that it will be done, but God... Then when we least expect it, HE comes through for us. When I returned from Vacation my boss asked me if I had heard that I won the lottery, well, I thought Powerball and knew I had not played and that they hadn't announced the winner yet. Actually there was still time to buy a ticket, it was just that, that was all I had been hearing on the way to work, so that was the first thing on my mind. However, I had one a lottery to go out of town for some training all expenses paid from my job. I had not travelled in 2 years due to budget cuts and travel and training are the first to be cut. Needless to say although I wanted to go, I really hadn't expected to win the lottery to go. Thank God for Unexpected Blessings, I am now packing my bags!! I love HIM!!

Simple Things in Life is much Appreciated!!

This morning I rose early and took my shower only to find that I did not have a dry towel or the correct wording is Bath Towel to dry off with in the bathroom.  I quickly reverted back to something my mother taught me which was to use my wash cloth to absorb as much water as possible off my body so that I did not drip water on the rugs or even the hard floor. 

Moral of the story:  I guess I did pay attention to Mom more than I thought or could even imagine that I would, especially when it comes back to me, when I really need it most!

Message in the Music

When you are listening to music, do you just like the beat or do listen to the words?  When a songwriter writes a song, there is a message he is trying to get across.  Take the time and listen to what the message is the author is putting out there.  Today the song that is ringing in my mind is "There is Power in the Name of Jesus" by Tasha Cobbs.  That song has POWER behind the title in itself.
